Midsouth Animal Welfare Foundation works with local law enforcement to rescue dogs with some of the worst cases of abuse (animal cruelty, abandoned dogs, puppy mills and bad breeders). We're proud to assist animal control from various Mississippi local counties on canine cruelty cases when needed.

Through a grant from the Mississippi Board of Animal Health “I Care for Animals” Car Tag Program, Midsouth was able to help individuals experiencing financial hardship in our local community spay/neuter 33 dogs and cats (15 dogs and 18 cats) in 2025.
